Bold and Subtle
The Problem.
Boldness and subtlety are seemingly contradictory terms, but they can be incorporated together to create a dynamic design. I explored the bold and the subtle together through a variety of media.
The Process.
Using collage, wet and dry media, photography, and design software, I created designs that were both bold and subtle. Inspired by my process work, I then designed two versions of a poster for a book signing event.
The Solution.
I refined my favorite poster, keeping in mind the successful elements of my initial process work.
